Synopsis
Three cursed brothers. A golden haired saviour. The key to unlock the curse.
Once upon a time, there were three brothers of magic, who lived together in a house of their own, in a wood.
Upon first glance, one would assume the brothers were ordinary but they were, in fact, from another land most extraordinary.
For you see, a curse was brought upon these brothers, removing their magic and exiling them in the human realm, in a house of their own, in a wood.
Decades went by with no hope of finding a key to end the curse.
Until one day, when a golden-haired woman stumbled upon their house, in a wood, with the power to change their fate.
The Golden Key is a stand alone, dark fantasy romance.

So, how do I even start writing about something I adored so much…?
The Golden Key is a fairy tale retelling loosely based on Goldilocks and the three bears. This is the debut novel of Cass Gellar. An independent author with a bright future ahead with creating.
TGK follows Aurelia, our golden-haired saviour seeking refuge from her old life, she finds herself in the woods running for her life where she finds a cabin.
Unbeknown to her, this cabin is the residence of three brothers.
The three brothers are surprised to say the least to see her in their cabin…As the story unfolds we are given a beautiful story of found family, slow burn spice and wonderful escapism.
The writing is exceptional. It flows so thoughtfully and lyrical that which is reminiscent of the writing of VE Schwab. It’s descriptive and wonderful, offering utter escapism at it’s best. With a happily ever after ending… you are guaranteed to be left smiling.
Cass, you can truly tell you have poured your heart and soul into writing this. There’s elements in this that just scream YOU! Knowing you, I loved the elements that remind me of you.
Personally, I would have loved to have read more on Bea (a side character introduced) but that’s just me… got to love Bea.
The love interest is well… it caused me to have a dream or two … I have to admit. Slow burn romance with a one-horse trope thrown in. This is bound to warm your cockles on a cold winter’s night. Trust me, it’s worth the wait.
I was lucky enough to be gifted an Advanced Reader Copy of this in exchange for an honest review. I loved this so much, I ended up purchasing the E-book and a Paperback copy for it to sit proudly on my bookshelves.
Cass, I would like to thank you for this wonderful opportunity. Whether you release a new book next year… or in ten. Know this, you are an auto-buy author of mine.
