This however, was perfect! What a fantastic short festive read that I highly recommend you read Christmas Day night. This had me giggling and kicking my feet and as a 31 year old man, this is not a great sight 😂 Really enjoyed the humour- very well placed and the meet-cute is just adorable. ✨The Obsession by Natasha Preston✨ ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 Devoured this in one sitting, it’s such an easy, fast paced (yet somehow slowburn) YA thriller packed with suspense, teenage angst and stalking goodness. I believe this is my first book by the author and I think I’d like to read more by Preston. But I can’t say I absolutely loved it ! I can say I very much enjoyed it but the ending felt a little too rushed for my liking. I can see what the author was trying to do there though ( I think …?) The plot itself was fun, really enjoyed the influencer/vlog element to the story and how it has negative sides to it. This was refreshing to read with Connie not enjoying it. There are sooooo many characters I truly can’t stand and when you read it you’ll understand why but wow. Did I like anyone ? 😅 This is a great YA thriller for a slightly younger audience (👀 I’m 31) that I’m sure will appeal to so many. Also, what’s the point of living in a gated house if there’s no gate to your back garden leading into woodlands ? 😂 rich people eh! ✨holiday reads✨ Everytime we come to this cabin in the countryside, I always like to have a good thriller to read. Last night I binged the last of His & Hers by Alice Feeney and I really enjoyed it! I called the twists (for once) quite early on but honestly, it didnt take away my enjoyment. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 —— I think today will be spent binging another in front of the fire 😍 this is my type of relaxing holiday Although, getting In and out of the hot tub last night in -1 degrees was BRACING….
