It is a dark sports romance with a lot of spice. Please do check out the trigger warnings before reading this. I would never want one of my book recommendations to ever damage your mental health.

Rina Kent has been on my ‘authors to read’ list for the longest time so when the opportunity arose to read and review Beautiful Venom I jumped at the chance.
Just look at that cover! It alone is beautiful and looks stunning on your shelves… but let’s discuss the work within.
As mentioned before, this was my first read of Rina Kent and it most certainly won’t be my last.
I was completely swept up with the story from the start with the promise of revenge and as the story progresses you find out more about our FMC (female main character) and why she seeks revenge.
I can’t comment on the author’s usual writing style but with Beautiful Venom, I genuinely couldn’t get enough. There was multiple times where “Just one more chapter” was said aloud and yet I found myself reading on.
I found the plot of Beautiful Venom a whole lot of fun, although I thought it could have been a little darker. But that’s just a personal preference of mine as I like my Dark Romance books DARK! But this in no way affected my enjoyment of this book. In fact I found it rather refreshing as it didn’t just focus on the romance/spice elements of the story.
Speaking of spice… it most definitely spices!! I loved it, without fault. Kane was everything you want from a morally grey MMC (Male Main Character). He’s so BAAAAAAAD he’s just *chef’s kiss*
Honestly, this had me giggling, kicking my feet and as a 30 year old man that doesn’t look cute … trust me, I’m all limbs and unpleasant… unlike Kane
anyhow I feel like i’m babbling on and keeping you from pre-ordering/ordering (depending on when you’re reading this)
Overall, I would consider this as a must read of 2025. It’s fun, dark, delicious and looks stunning on your shelves.
