November Take-over ...

At the start of November, I let you all vote on what I read. This was both a success and a failure... oops.

I asked you all to select a book from my TBR for me to read which I did stick to however I found myself reading a lot on my Kindle and listening to audiobooks so I personally count this as a little naughty and maybe even cheating. Sorry! But in my defence, what you did choose... I did read.

But enough of me babbling trying to make me feel better here's what you chose and what I thought on each book

After reading and enjoying (but not utterly obsessed) with The Shepherd King duology by this author I went into this completely hopeful. Whilst it's slower than my usual type of romantasy I really enjoyed the plot. Quite basic in terms of world and overall plot it was still a fun lil book. It's definitely one of those that you have to be patient with as it takes a little while to get going and is rather predictable I still had a lot of fun and would recommend.

Batholomew truly makes this book and is probably why it got as high of a rating. He is wonderful. Seeing other people mention him got me excited to see who he is and why he's so popular.

In hindsight I think I may have rated thisa little too high and should have had it sitting at around 3.75 but I'll stick with my 4 stars.

WHY DID I WAIT OVER 3 YEARS TO READ THIS! This has sat on my shelves for the longest time begging me to read and honestly it was so much fun. I can't wait to continue the series (yup... I have them on my shelves ready)

I loved the whole premise of book and found it so unique. I am not a huge lover of Dystopian fantasy but this really caputred my attention. Throw in political intrigue, strong characters and a female main protagonist and i'm sold.

This was almost perfection!! So much so I had to immediately listen to the sequel ! Highly recommend this book if you love romantasy, wolf shifters, captured by the enemy and all that goodness.

Callum stole my head with Aurora completely and listening to the accent on audio was just CHEFS KISS. I'm typing this out and I'm a little confused at why I didn't rate it 5 stars.... oops hahah.

This was quite predictable for me but It didn't affect my enjoyment of it!

That's it! You all chose some fantastic reads for me. Whilst I only managed to get through 3 books from my TBR in this challenge they all were high ratings. So thankyou!

I clearly struggled with being "told" what to read as this is one of my biggest struggles as a mood reader but at the same time I had a lot of fun. So.... prepare for another one of these to come in the new year.

I hope you enjoyed taking over my reading...

Is there one of your favourites out there that you want me to read?? let me know... I'll try throw it into one of the polls if it's on my TBR!
