My top 5 reads of 2025

I feel like I say this all the time but how is it wrap-up time AGAIN.... never mind 2025 wrap-up. I've read some absolutely fantastic books this year so I'll choose 5 that I have absolutely loved. But I doubt I'll be able to put them as a countdown... 

Now be honest, who's surprised??? At the time of writing this i'm at the total of 119 books read and looking through my reads these ones jumped out the most sparking joy so I think I can safely say these are my top 5 of 2025! 

Bury Our Bones In The Midnight Soil - A highly anticipated read of mine this year. When I found out it was coming out I squealed. seriously! Schwab is one of my favourite authors and this book solidifies it even more. Click here to view on Amazon

Kiss The Villain - Rina Kent is new to me as an author and oh my this was delicious. Male Male dark romance between a student and professor whom are both a little messed up. ATE THIS UP! Cannot wait to read the sequel.  Click here to view on Amazon

None Of This Is True - This was the first book of Lisa Jewell I've ever read and oh my. It was gripping! Genuinely couldn't put it down. It led me to binge 3/4 more of her books in a short amount of time. Click here to view on Amazon

Chokehold - Okay, I said I doubt i'd be able to pick a favourite. I was wrong. This has to be my favourite read of 2025. It was perfection. I mean it. SHEER PERFECTION. Arcana Academy - GET THIS ON YOUR TBR! The magic system is perfection and the plot is so much fun! I loved this one so much. Gutted to have to wait so long for the sequel as that cliffhanger done me in! Romantasy with Dark Academia vibes.
